The Podiatrist is responsible for providing high-quality podiatry assessment, treatment, education and preventative care services to patients of Bendigo Primary Care Centre.The role focuses on improving patient mobility, foot health and overall wellbeing through evidence-based assessment and management.
The Podiatrist works collaboratively with General Practitioners, Nurses and other Allied Health Professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.The position provides services across:General podiatry careDiabetic foot assessments and managementChronic disease management programsMusculoskeletal and biomechanical assessmentsPreventative foot health educationMedicare and care plan supported servicesThe Podiatrist contributes to quality improvement activities, accreditation requirements and clinical governance initiatives within the organisation.
