This is an excellent opportunity for a contracts and commercial professional with experience in construction or infrastructure projects to lead pre-contract and procurement activities, commercial negotiations and stakeholder engagement across a diverse portfolio of major projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end pre-contract and procurement activities for major infrastructure projectsDevelop procurement strategies and commercial approaches for capital worksManage tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract establishmentBuild robust relationships with project teams, legal, finance and suppliersNegotiate commercial arrangements to deliver value for money and manage project riskDevelop forward procurement plans across a large program of worksEnsure compliance with governance,



probity and procurement frameworksSupport continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and commercial processesAbout YouExperience in procurement, commercial or pre-contracts roles within construction or infrastructure environmentsStrong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial negotiationsExperience delivering procurement activities for capital works or infrastructure projectsExcellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsStrong commercial acumen and analytical capabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environmentRelevant qualifications in Business, Construction, Engineering, Law or a related disciplineHighly RegardedExperience with NEC4 or GC21 contractsExposure to SAP Ariba, InEight or similar procurement platformsExperience working across major infrastructure or utilities projectsIf you're a contracts, procurement or commercial professional with a backgroundin the Utilities sector as well as managing procurementfor Infrastructureand construction projects, we'd love to hear from you.
