This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career with a growing company that values its people, supports development, and offers real opportunities to grow and progress across all areas of the business.About the RoleAs a Yardsman / Reo Machine Operator at Greensteel, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard, warehouse and reo processing area.
You'll make sure steel products are processed, handled, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role involving operating reo cutting and bending machinery, forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, order picking, and keeping the yard clean and organised.Key ResponsibilitiesCut and bend reinforcing bar to schedule using shears and bendersProcess and handle mesh, bar and other reo productsLoad and unload steel products safely and efficientlyPick,



prepare and check customer orders for dispatchOperate forklifts and yard equipment safelyAssist with receiving, checking and storing stockMaintain a clean, safe and organised yard and warehouseConduct basic equipment and machine checks and report faults or hazardsAssist customers and drivers in the yard as requiredWork with team members to meet daily operational targetsWhat We're Looking ForStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically fit and capable of manual handlingSafety-focused with attention to detailAble to read reo schedules and measure accurately, or keen to learnWillingness to learn and follow instructionsPositive attitude and solid communication skillsRequired QualificationsCurrent Driver's Licence and reliable transportExperience in reo processing, warehousing, steel, manufacturing or construction preferred but not essential, as full training on reo machinery will be providedHR licence and/or dogging ticket highly regardedWhy Join Greensteel?
