Team Lead & Senior Environmental EngineerMelbourne, Victoria, Australia | On-Site | Full TimeWe are seeking a Team Lead & Senior Environmental Engineer to lead our Engineering, Design and Compliance team in Melbourne (VIC).
This role suits an experienced engineer who enjoys a mix of hands‐on technical delivery and leading people.
You will design and review complex environmental engineering systems, and you will also lead, mentor and resource a team of engineers to deliver high quality outcomes for our clients.What you will doDesign, review and approve complex environmental engineering projects, including landfill gas systems, leachate treatment, vapour mitigation and remediation infrastructureProvide technical direction on system design, modelling, commissioning and optimisationAct as senior technical reviewer for reports, calculations, drawings and specificationsLead projects and workstreams, coordinating fieldwork, design, subcontractors and multidisciplinary inputsLine manage engineers and technical staff, including goal setting, development planning and regular performance conversationsAllocate resources across projects and track team utilisation, budgets and financial performanceMentor engineers in design, risk assessment, field implementation and client engagementSupport business development through proposals, fee estimates and client engagementIdentify capability gaps and contribute to recruitment and workforce planningMake sure project delivery meets Core-EP quality, safety and procedural requirementsWhat we are looking forDegree in Environmental Engineering,



Civil Engineering or a related disciplineAt least 7 years of relevant industry experienceDemonstrated experience in landfill gas systems, leachate management, remediation or equivalent infrastructureStrong design capability, including hydraulic calculations, gas modelling and system optimisationExperience leading and mentoring engineering teamsCommercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting and utilisation trackingUnderstanding of relevant Australian Standards and environmental legislationStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead technical discussionsChartered Skilled Engineer (CPEng) or working towards ChartershipValid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sitesWhy join usWe believe in more than just a job – we offer a place to grow, connect, and make a real impact.Grow With Us: Your development matters.
