An 18-month contract running a portfolio of electrical upgrade projects for a major energy client in Central Queensland.
The previous Project Manager has just retired after 10 years in the role.

About the role
Manage around six electrical projects at once, each $200k to $2M, on critical operating plantScope, tender and manage turnkey design-and-install contractors through to completionPlan and deliver most of the work inside major outage windowsUpcoming projects include switchboard protection upgrades, emergency diesel generators and fire system workReport to the Electrical Superintendent and work alongside a small electrical,
instrumentation and control team
About you
Electrical engineering degree, or an electrical licence backed by strong project management experienceCurrent or recent brownfield project delivery in power, mining, sugar, mineral processing or other heavy industryExperience running multiple projects and contractors through shutdowns or outagesA self-starter who owns their projects and is comfortable driving them without a big team behind themBased in Rockhampton or happy to relocate (no relocation assistance)RPEQ is a bonus, not essential
