This is the national 24/7 domestic, family and sexual violence counselling, information, and support service.
****RESPECT provides free, confidential support for people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic, family, and sexual violence, including workplace sexual harassment.
The Service also provides support for friends, family, and professionals.About the roleAs a First Response Counsellor in these part-time or full-time positions, you'll provide trauma-informed support via phone, video, web chat, and SMS in a fast-paced contact centre environment.What you'll be doingConducting risk and safety assessmentsProviding counselling, information, referrals, and supportConnecting people with appropriate services and pathways to safetyWhat you'll bring to the roleStrong understanding of domestic, family, sexual violence, and sexual assault practicesExperience working in trauma-informed and person-centred frameworksProven ability to navigate multiple systems and applications such as Microsoft Teams and CRM platformsDemonstrated experience in providing high levels of support and care to service usersA suitable private, confidential,
