Peopleconnexion Recruitment – Brisbane QLD1mo ago , from PeopleConnexion Recruitment Pty LtdThe CompanyWe are partnering with an established aviation organisation in Brisbane seeking an experienced qualified to join its CAMO team and support the continuing airworthiness of its aircraft.The RoleJoin the team in Brisbane as the Continuous Airworthiness Manager (CAM) and take responsibility for continuing airworthiness, maintenance planning and regulatory compliance across the fleet.Reporting to the CEO / Accountable Manager, the role will oversee CAMO activities, maintenance programmes, aircraft records, Airworthiness Directives, defects and coordination with Part 145 maintenance organisations, ensuring aircraft remain compliant with applicable CASA requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead continuing airworthiness and CAMO activities across the fleet.Develop and manage aircraft maintenance programmes and scheduled maintenance.Oversee Airworthiness Directives, defects, modifications,
repairs and life-limited components.Maintain continuing airworthiness records and ensure Certificates of Airworthiness remain valid.Manage relationships with Part 145 maintenance organisations and relevant maintenance arrangements.Ensure compliance with CASA requirements and manage applicable regulatory reporting.Maintain and control the CAMO exposition and support quality, safety and Human Factors requirements.About YouMinimum 3 years' experience in continuing airworthiness managementStrong knowledge of CASA regulations and aircraft airworthiness requirementsExperience working within a CAMO and quality systemStrong understanding of maintenance programmes and continuing airworthiness recordsWell-developed communication skillsYou will also hold at least one of the following:B1, B2 or C aircraft engineer licence, or equivalentCertificate IV or higher in aircraft maintenanceDiploma or higher in aviation maintenance managementDiploma or higher engineering qualification in an applicable engineering disciplineConfidentiality is important to us — and you.
