Job Description Arrow Transport, Logistics and Quarantine services is a national brand with a major presence in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth! Due to continued growth our NSW Chullora depot is seeking experienced forklift driver to join our FAK Depot team. Key responsibilities: Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload containers, trailers and trucks using forklifts and other equipment. Cargo handling: Handle various types of freight, including palletised goods, oversized items and irregular cargo. Freight stacking: Efficiently stack and organise cargo in the depot to maximise space and ensure stability. Inventory management: Counting and verifying cargo against manifests and shipping documents. Equipment maintenance: Perform daily inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure there are in safe working condition. Safety compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling techniques, load limits and PPE requirements. Communication: Collaborate with warehouse staff,
drivers depot management and external personnel to ensure smooth and protected operations. Documentation: Complete required paperwork for freight handling, damage reports and incident logs. Qualifications and Skills: Valid forklift operator certification/license. Experience in handling FAK cargo or working in a depot/warehouse environment is preferred. Knowledge of freight handling procedures, safety regulations and preferably Australian border force & Quarantine regulations (on-site training will be provided) Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment. Work environment: The role requires working in a warehouse/depot setting, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
