There's plenty of opportunities to broaden skill sets and advance careers, while making a positive difference in the lives of older Victorians.The RoleAs a Laundry Assistant, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of our laundry services, ensuring residents' clothing, linen and other items are handled carefully, efficiently and hygienically.Your responsibilities will include: Sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing residents' clothing and linenEnsuring clothing and personal items are handled with care and returned to the correct residentMaintaining a clean, safe and organised laundry environmentFollowing infection prevention,



hygiene and workplace safety proceduresWorking collaboratively with the wider residential services team to support residents' comfort and wellbeing The current roster pattern is: Week 1: Monday and TuesdayWeek 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous laundry, cleaning, hospitality or aged care experience, ideally within a residential or healthcare environmentStrong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environmentGood organisation and time-management skillsA reliable, practical and team-focused approachRespectful communication and a genuine commitment to supporting older peopleThe ability to follow infection control, safety and manual handling requirements Why Benetas?
