About the role

Corporate Lighting Services Pty Ltd is a small family business undertaking ongoing and adhoc minor electrical services and lighting maintenance to the commercial and corporate sectors in the Brisbane CBD & metro areas. We are seeking a qualified Electrician on a permanent-part time basis ideally with additional experience in lighting requirements and with an immediate start or on short notice.

Key responsibilities

· Conduct occasional assigned building lighting walk through audits

· Perform minor general lamp/fixture lighting repairs/replacements/installations

· Perform LED lighting repairs/retrofits/upgrades/installations

· Conduct emergency lighting testing and replacement works

· Conduct minor electrical repairs/replacements/installations

· Assist management with special requirements for quotations

Attributes

· Have good electrical fault-finding knowledge and ability

· Be well presented and confident to liaise with our clients

· Be able to work independently

· Good knowledge of relevant electrical standards

· Adaptable for occasional before or later business hour start times if required

· Flexible for rare occasional Saturday work for special tasks and/or projects (penalty rates apply)





· Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work at varying heights

· Having worked at Brisbane CBD sites considered an advantage

Qualifications:

· Hold a current Queensland Electrical licence

· Open drivers licence

· High Risk-WP / EWP (under 11metres) certificates highly regarded

· White/Blue Construction Card

· Current CPR/LVR Certificate (preferred)

· Having own battery operated tools (preferred)

Benefits

· $58.00-$65.00 per hour + super based on experience

· $2,000 sign on bonus after successful 3 month probation

· 4-day week (32 Hours): Select your preferred RDO

· 4 weeks annual leave with up to 2 weeks of those guaranteed over Christmas /New Year period

· Regularly early finish times occur based on daily works completed with no pay deduction
