Timboon and District Healthcare Service is a Public Hospital (which includes Multi Purpose Services) delivering a range of health care for local communities. Public Hospitals are entities operating under the Health Service Act (Vic) 1988 and are accountable to the Minister for Health for the cost-effective and sustainable delivery of high quality and protected health care. About the role
Board directors provide strategic leadership to public hospitals, oversee governance and contribute to better health outcomes for Victorian communities. Board directors should expect to commit 2 to 3 days per month, to:
- Attend and prepare for monthly board meetings
- Participate in board committees
- Represent the board at events and other official activities, as required.
