ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT & RECEPTIONIST – FOUNDING TEAM MEMBER

DR JOHN PAUL BRADLEY PTY LTD – Thornbury VIC

A current specialist orthodontic practice opening in Thornbury in early 2027. You'll split your time between the chair and the front desk, working directly with our specialist orthodontist. As our founding team member, you'll help shape how the practice runs from day one, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as we grow.

Key responsibilities

- Assist orthodontist with new patient consultations, records (photos, scans, impressions), bonding, adjustment appointments
- Set up and maintain the surgery and sterilisation in line with current standards
- Greet patients and families, manage bookings, phones and emails, take payments, handle treatment-fee enquiries and maintain patient records




- Help set up practice software (full training provided), write procedures and establish the systems we’ll rely on as we grow
- Build relationships with local dentists and families, and help with social media if you're interested

About you

- Experience as a dental assistant/reception, ideally in orthodontics
- Friendly, organised and confident with patients of all ages, especially children and teenagers
- Comfortable moving between clinical and administrative work during the dayCertificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
- Specialist orthodontic experience (highly regarded)
- Dental reception experience (highly regarded)
