Every room you care for, every interaction you have, makes a genuine difference in someone's day.We're looking for compassionate and reliable Part time Housekeeping Assistants to join our team at Monash Gardens.The OpportunityYou will be responsible for maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming setting by cleaning resident rooms and communal areas as directed by the Facility Manager, working a 9:00am to 5:00pm roster across a fortnightly schedule.Your ResponsibilitiesMaintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with Aged Care Quality StandardsComplete daily cleaning tasks using the electronic cleaning system (tablet)Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, and laundry areasPerform floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, carpet maintenance, and bathroom cleaningFollow infection control procedures, including the correct use of colour-coded cleaning equipmentSafely handle, use,



and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OH&S; requirementsReplenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure cleaning trolleys are stored safelySupport accreditation and compliance requirements, including unannounced auditsMonitor and maintain cleaning stock levels and report shortages as requiredAbout YouExperience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning (Aged Care experience highly regarded)Computer literacy to report incidents and work completed via IPadA caring, respectful, and positive attitude.Robust attention to detail and reliabilityA current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check ( Mandatory).
