This is an ongoing opportunity with a leading Australian carpet manufacturer, offering stable employment and immediate starts for suitable candidates.Duties include:Loading yarn and materials into carpet tufting machinerySetting up and operating carpet manufacturing equipmentOperating a forklift to move raw materials and finished productsRecording and monitoring production dataMaintaining a safe and effective work environmentAssisting with general production and material handling dutiesTo be successful, you will have:Current LF Forklift LicencePrevious machine operating and/or forklift experienceExperience in carpet manufacturing, textile production,
or similar machinery highly regarded but not essentialStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periodsAbility to regularly lift min 5kgFlexible attitude toward overtime and additional hours when requiredReliable work ethic and strong focus on workplace safetyIf you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we encourage you to apply for the Machine Operator / Forklift Operator role.
