We are seeking Casual Environmental Services Officer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, contributing to high standards of cleanliness and supporting quality patient care.

About the Role

- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and specialised spaces
- Perform vacuuming, mopping, and operate specialised floor-cleaning machinery.
- Remove rubbish and medical waste safely and efficiently in line with hospital procedures.
- Operate floor cleaning machinery and equipment (full training provided)
- Strictly follow Infection Control, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and hospital protocols.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to supervisors.

About You:

- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services experience is highly desirable.
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (including mornings, afternoons, and nights) is essential.
- Ability to cover core shift patterns of 07:00–15:30 and 12:00–20:00.
- A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a solid grasp of infection control basics,



allowing you to follow safety guidelines and instructions with precision.
