SG Awesome Tiling Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced wall and floor tiler to join our team for various projects across the Perth metropolitan area.

Job tasks and responsibilities

- Reviewing plans, measuring surface areas, and laying out the tiling work after marking the surfaces.
- Calculations for materials requirements- sheeting, tiles, adhesive, grout, etc.
- Prepare the walls and floor surfaces, including removing old tiles, plaster and flooring, filling cracks and holes. Clean surfaces.
- Application of adhesive onto prepared surfaces, cutting tiles, tiling and grouting.
- Shape and cut tiles with the Tiler cutter tool.
- Ensure that tiles are correctly cut and shaped
- Preparation of floor area and levels
- Ensure tiles are correctly aligned and placed
- Preparation and application of waterproofing as required




- Lay coloured tiles in patterns and mosaics.
- Lay floors with a mixture of compositions such as cement, terrazzo and granolithic
- Grout tiles and remove excess material.
- Checking all finished works and signing off on completed works

Skills and experience

Experience required – minimum two (2) years full time experience in tiling, preferably in the commercial sector. Must be licensed with own tools and transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary from $79,500.00-$81,000/year

Work Eligibility:

The candidate can work permanently with no restriction on hours (Preferred)
