Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager, who will report to the Asset Services Manager and work closely with the existing sales department.Expressions of interestThis is a rare and exciting opportunity that will require you to use your sales and account management experience to increase business opportunities with new and existing clients.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Confidently present engineering solutions for materials handlingProduce estimates, budgets and proposal documents to a professional standardTo increase sales through various direct and in-direct methods whilst at all times Maintaining profit contributionsDevelop and Maintain strong business relationships with all key stakeholdersDevelop marketing and sales strategies to target identified potential clientsProvide statistical,



development and sales reports to senior managementPro-actively negotiate long term contracts for various products and services, conduct regular client meetings and service reviewsProvide regular client contact and handle any technical issues or relevant queriesMaintaining and developing the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of all information that is enteredEssential requirements for the role:Proven experience in a business development role ideally gained in a materials handling engineering environmentProfessional attitude with a solid business acumenEngineering knowledge with a solid technical aptitudeExcellent relationship building skillsFlexibility to travel to mine sites and major citiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsArticulate and excellent time management skillsResults driven and client focussedCompetent with MS Office applications including spread sheetsIn return, you will have the opportunity to work for a well-respected and marketing leading Engineering company playing a vital role within the business.
