Bega is seeking reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious Warehouse Operators to join their team in Canberra to support increased operational demand throughout December and January.

About the Role
You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse and cool room environment, supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Duties will include:
- Operating forklifts to move and manage stock.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Working in a cool room environment.
- Maintaining a clean, protected and organised workplace.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current and valid forklift licence (essential).
- Previous forklift operating experience (highly regarded).
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred).
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Confidence working in a cool room environment.
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon and night shifts.
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work throughout the December and January peak period, with no planned leave during this time.
Hours & Pay
- Pay Rate: $43.03 per hour.
- Employment Type: Casual / Part-time hours.
- Starting Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week.
- Peak Hours: Potential to increase to 36 hours per week, depending on operational requirements.
- Shifts: Day, afternoon and night shifts available.
- Weekends: Some weekend shifts may become available once trained and experienced.
