About the Role

We’re growing the team at QT Sydney’s dining and bar venues, including Gowings Restaurant, Gowings Bar, Parlour and the Events team. We’re looking for experiencedwaitstaff and bartenders who have honed their craft in premium restaurants or high-end bars and love delivering polished, personable service, this is your next stage. You’ll take pride in the details, read the room with ease, and make every guest feel looked after from arrival to farewell.

Key Responsibilities

Waitstaff

- Deliver attentive, refined service across your allocated section from arrival to departure
- Present menus, offer knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations, and take accurate orders
- Handle special occasions, dietary requirements, guest requests and feedback with confidence and care




- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks quickly and to a consistently high standard
- Offer confident drink recommendations and engage guests across the bar and floor
- Keep the bar stocked, organised and presented to QT standards
- Serve alcohol responsibly in line with NSW RSA requirements

What you bring

- Proven experience in a premium or fine dining restaurant, high-end bar or hotel
- Confidence working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine service fundamentals (and cocktail craft for bar roles)
- A current NSW RSA certificate
- A polished, warm manner with excellent attention to detail
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
