As a Maintenance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the village remains safe, attractive and operating smoothly. From coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance to supporting residents with day-to-day maintenance requests, you'll enjoy a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Working both independently and as part of a close-knit team, you'll help create an exceptional living experience for our residents.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position, working 10 hours per week. The day and start/finish times are flexible; however, 4 of the 10 weekly hours are required to be worked across Sunday and Monday to support village waste management duties, approximately 2 hours on Sunday to take the bins out for collection and 2 hours on Monday to return bins following collection.

Sunday hours are paid at time and three quarters of the standard hourly rate, providing an excellent chance to boost your earnings.

Reporting to the Village Manager, your duties will include;

- Coordinate and undertake general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance across the village
- Maintain village buildings, common areas, facilities and grounds to a high standard.
- Undertake general site duties, including waste management, with scheduled bin collection responsibilities on Sunday and Monday each week.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become problems.
- Support workplace health and safety compliance and report hazards as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders using computer-based systems.
- Contribute to the presentation, safety and overall resident experience within the village.
