About the Role

As the Major Works Coordinator, you will provide frontline leadership and oversight of brownfield project execution and major maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate supervision coverage and shift rosters across active project and shutdown activities.
- Manage contractor mobilisation activities including site access, inductions, accommodation, travel logistics and compliance requirements.
- Oversee contractor readiness and ensure all personnel meet site entry, medical and onboarding requirements.
- Review and challenge contractor execution methodologies to ensure safe, practical and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate plant interfaces, isolations, permits and operational handovers to minimise disruption to production.
- Manage SIMOPS risks and resolve field execution conflicts across multiple work fronts.
- Promote a zero-harm culture through proactive risk management,

safety leadership and contractor accountability.
- Monitor project and shutdown progress against critical path schedules and provide accurate reporting to key stakeholders.
- Drive schedule recovery initiatives and support successful project completion within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Verify field quality standards and ensure works comply with engineering specifications, Australian Standards and site requirements.

About You

You are a practical and highly organised leader with extensive experience coordinating work in a heavy industrial, mining or fixed plant environment. You bring strong field credibility, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to make sound decisions in rapid-paced operational settings.

To be successful, you will have:

- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.
