Kew General Practice is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to deliver high‑quality nursing care within a general practice setting located in Kew VIC 3101. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical operations, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and support whilst working alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a collaborative primary care environment.

What you'll be doing

Providing direct patient care including assessment, triage and monitoring of patient health status

Assisting with clinical procedures and examinations under the direction of medical practitioners

Administering medications and vaccinations in accordance with clinical protocols and legislative requirements

Taking patient vital signs and documenting findings accurately in patient records

Providing health education and advice to patients regarding their care, treatment and wellbeing

Supporting the coordination of patient appointments and clinic flow

Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic clinical environment

Managing clinical equipment and restocking medical supplies

Communicating effectively with patients, medical practitioners and other healthcare team members

Contributing to continuous quality improvement within the practice

What we're looking for

Current registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Immunisation Certificate (Highly Desirable)

Knowledge and understanding of infection prevention and control practices





Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations

Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining a collaborative team approach

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Competence in electronic health records and clinical documentation

A commitment to patient-centred care and professional standards

Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain if required)

Experience in general practice, community health or primary care settings is highly valued
