Our major goal is to provide industry with a comprehensive national service offering repair and maintenance of high and low voltage electric motors and have an prospect in our service facility for a permanent position, located in Geelong, Victoria and looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, forward thinking experienced Electrical Fitter. Reporting to the workshop supervisor, key areas of duties and responsibility include, but are not limited to: Attend Toolbox mtgs as required Adhere to laws, codes, statutory rules and regulations, industry, and national standards. Work in a safe manner with respect to self and others Undertake works to schedule and quality requirements Keep accurate diary of meetings and daily activities. Rewind High Voltage AC and DC Electric Motors Workshop Plan jobs to co-ordinate repair activities and organize tools and work methods Conduct detailed analysis and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repair method of AC and DC Electric Motors. Troubleshoot and repair equipment.



Recommend changes such as new equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer to company IMS requirements and standards To be successful in this role you will preferably have the following qualifications and experience.A trade qualification in Electrical Fitting of rotating equipment Experience in AC & DC LV/HV Motors & GeneratorsA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar industry and winding experience for HV Electric Motors Ability to travel to site when required Driver’s license Forklift license Highly driven and energetic, you will enjoy working with a team, have excellent communication and customer service skills Proactive self-starter who can manage competing priorities and work under pressure Passion for safety, health and environment Passion for quality of work In return, we offer: Bob White Electrix offers suitably qualified applicants an attractive remuneration package in line with the applicant's experience.$90K-$95K base wage Relocation assistance for suitable applicants to help you you would like to build your career with one of the Australia’s largest rotating equipment service companies then apply today Login is optional, you may send application via email
