What You WillDo

As Executive Director,Technology and Transformation, youwill lead a significantgovernment-wide agenda bringingtogether strategy, technology,investment and transformation.

- Set strategic direction fortechnology, digitaltransformation, artificialintelligence and businessimprovement.
- Lead the Digital InvestmentFund, strengthening investmentpriorities, governance, valuefor money and benefitsrealisation.
- Guide the responsibleadoption of AI through cleargovernance, oversight andaccountability.
- Provide authoritativeadvice to the Treasurer,Cabinet and senior governmentleaders.
- Connect technology,capability, investment withstronger security, productivityand service delivery.




- Build high-performing teamsand partnerships within thedepartment and acrossgovernment and industry.

Remuneration: SAES 2 -Executive Classification - Fixedterm contract

What YouBring

You are an accomplishedexecutive who:

- Brings the judgement,credibility and commercialacumen to operate acrosscomplex organisations
- Has led significanttechnology, digitaltransformation, investment ororganisational improvementportfolios
- Translates strategy intoclear priorities, disciplineddelivery and lastingoutcomes
- Understands business cases,procurement, assurance,investment governance andbenefits realisation
- Makes complex issues clearand supports sound decisions byboards, executives, governmentleaders and technicalspecialists
- Builds trustedrelationships, sets clearexpectations and creates theconditions for people toperform at their best.

Experience within the SouthAustralian public sector would bevaluable, but it is not essential.We welcome executive leaders fromcommerce, industry, technology andother large, complex organisationswho can bring relevant experienceand a fresh perspective.
