Working alongside experienced Nurses, Radiation Therapists, Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals, you'll play an important role in supporting patients throughout their radiation therapy journey. /n /n Previous oncology experience isn't essential. If you're an experienced Registered Nurse with a genuine passion for patient care, our team will provide the training and support you need to develop your skills in radiation oncology. /n /n This is a casual position primarily based at Southport, with the opportunity to provide occasional shift coverage at our Tugun clinic. /n /n More specifically you will: /n /n
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care, supporting patients' physical, emotional and psychological needs. /n
- Provide direct nursing care, including patient education, wound management and medication administration. /n
- Support patients and their families throughout their radiation therapy journey, providing reassurance, information and practical guidance. /n




- Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. /n
- Assess and monitor patients, identifying concerns and escalating appropriately to the clinical team. /n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure effective communication and patient handovers. /n
- Follow clinical guidelines, medication management protocols and best practice radiation oncology nursing standards. /n
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience. /n /n /n We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. /n /n You'll ideally have: /n /n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. /n
- A minimum of 2 years' post-graduate nursing experience (preferred). /n
- Strong clinical assessment skills and experience in wound care management. /n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. /n
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to nursing care. /n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. /n
- A commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety and continuous professional development. /n




- Previous oncology or radiation oncology nursing experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential. /n /n /n Benefits of joining our team/n /n
