We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Building Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site operations of townhouse and apartment construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance and timely project delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of townhouse and apartment construction projects, with a preference for multi-residential experience.

- Independently manage site programmes, construction quality, workplace health and safety, and subcontractor coordination.

- Lead and supervise in office teams, including foremen, tradespeople and subcontractors, to maintain a productive and results-driven work environment.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants and subcontractors to maintain efficient project schedules and resolve technical or operational issues.

- Monitor and manage project timelines, construction sequencing and critical path activities to ensure each stage is completed in accordance with the project programme.

- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all construction work meets relevant industry standards, approved plans and client expectations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable Western Australian building requirements, building codes, workplace health and safety legislation and site safety procedures.

- Monitor site progress, identify potential delays and implement appropriate solutions to keep projects on track.

- Oversee site resources, materials and subcontractor performance to support productive project delivery and cost control.





- Take overall responsibility for site coordination and construction delivery outcomes in accordance with project objectives, specifications and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Diploma in Building and Construction or a related qualification is preferred but not essential.

- A current White Card and valid Western Australian driver's licence.

- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in the construction industry, including at least 2–3 years in a site supervisory or similar leadership position.

- Demonstrated experience managing townhouse and apartment construction projects. Multi-residential construction experience will be highly regarded.

- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, relevant construction standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

- Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple trades, foremen and subcontractors while maintaining project schedules and quality standards.

- Demonstrated experience managing construction programmes, work sequencing and critical path activities.

- Sound understanding of construction cost control, labour, materials and resource management.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly when dealing with complex site, technical and subcontractor issues.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to promote accountability and a collaborative site culture.

- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
