About the Role

We are looking for caring and dedicated Assistants in Nursing / Personal Care Workers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Working as part of a supportive care team, you'll provide person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Location: Tweed River Care Community, Tweed Heads (centre location near Tweed Mall Shopping Centre, Tweed Heads Bowls Club and beaches)

What You'll Do

- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assist residents to maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families and team members
- Observe, report and respond to changes in residents' wellbeing
- Support a safe, clean and comfortable living environment
- Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver exceptional care
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification
- A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Compassion, empathy and a genuine desire to support older people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical; Police Check; NDIS Worker Screening Check
