Lumus Imaging has an opportunity for a patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join ourBribie Island and Bongareeclinics on a permanent, full-time basis.
38 hour week with varying shifts between 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. There may be a requirement to travel to other clinics includingNarangba, Burpengary and Caboolture.
This is a front-of-house role within a busy diagnostic imaging environment, offering stable weekday hours and the chance to be part of a supportive healthcare team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering a positive patient experience.
Comprehensive training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with or without prior healthcare experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and providing a professional and compassionate first impression
- Managing patient bookings, referrals, and enquiries (in person and via phone)
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
- Processing Medicare, billing, and payment transactions
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic
About you
- Experience in a healthcare or medical reception role is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Confidence using computers and administrative systems
- A team-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to patient care
