Immediate contract role within a growing consumer products business. Up to $70/hr + super, immediate start/n

Location:
North Sydney /n Rate: Up to $70 an hour + super /n Contract Length: 3 months /n An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join a high-growth consumer products business on an initial contract basis. Working closely with senior leadership, you will support core financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance activities and commercial finance initiatives during a busy period. /n This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly add value within a dynamic environment and confidently manage a broad range of financial responsibilities. - Oversee the preparation of monthly consolidated group management accounts. /n
- Deliver financial analysis and reporting on departmental and business performance. /n
- Manage weekly cash flow reporting and monitoring activities. /n
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation. /n
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close procedures. /n
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls. /n
- Oversee inventory reconciliations and associated reporting. /n
- Review payroll processes and statutory compliance requirements. /n
- Manage BAS, PAYG and payroll tax reporting obligations. /n
- Liaise with external auditors, advisors and regulatory bodies as required. /n




- Partner with the Finance Director and operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and decision support. /n
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and controls. /n

What you'll need
to succeed /n /n /n
- CA or CPA qualified, or equivalent experience. /n
- Proven experience within financial accounting, management accounting or finance leadership roles. /n
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise. /n
- Experience managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes. /n
- Exposure to inventory-based, product-led or multi-entity environments will be highly regarded. /n
- Sound understanding of Australian tax and payroll compliance requirements. /n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. /n
- Able to work independently and become productive quickly in a fast-paced environment. /n
