A well-established investment business is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join on a permanent part time basis. This is a broad, autonomous in-house role for a commercially minded corporate lawyer who enjoys running deals. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. The role
- Draft, negotiate and manage investment and M&A; transactions through to completion
- Advise on fund matters, corporate governance and company secretarial work
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts and handle routine employment matters
- Brief and manage specialist external counsel where needed About you
- +6PQE in corporate and M&A; or funds management, ideally with top-tier or leading firm training
- Confident working independently as the sole legal resource
- Private capital, funds or investment experience highly regarded
- Pragmatic, commercial and comfortable advising senior stakeholders On offer
- Genuine flexibility on days and location
