The Position
- Lead a high-volume production kitchen, overseeing daily preparation and large-scale batch cookery across events.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, quality, and operational excellence.
- Manage and mentor a team of 20-30 chefs, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
- Oversee retail and express outlet operations, ensuring efficient service and product consistency.
- Drive performance through inventory control, waste reduction, and cost management.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and workplace health and safety.
The Person
- Experience in executing high-volume food production for large-scale operations
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative and diverse event menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences while ensuring culinary excellence and quality.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate culinary teams during fast-paced event environments.
- Knowledge of and compliance to food safety regulations and quality control standards.
