A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its payroll team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is available for an immediate start.

Your new role

- Onboarding and setting up new starters in the payroll system
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
- Processing employee contract variations and payroll adjustments
- Managing staff files and ensuring payroll information is accurate
- Assisting with fortnightly payroll processing
- Reviewing time sheet information and resolving discrepancies
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
- Preparing payroll reports and maintaining Excel trackers
- Supporting the wider payroll team as required

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence working in a busy,



high-volume environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
