About the Role
/n An exciting opportunity exist for a motivated Registered Nurse with surgical nursing experience to join our dynamic Day Procedures team. This role requires the skills of a critical thinker with advanced patient assessment and clinical skills and someone who is committed to continuous improvement. /n /n /n
- Maintain timely and accurate nursing records /n
- Ensure effective admission and discharge processes of patients /n
- Liaise with patient, patient’s family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested /n /n /n Classifications for this position will range between YP3 – YP9 ($86,580.00
- $107,510.00 per annum, pro rata). /n /n Your Contribution /n /n
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree with AHPRA registration

- Previous experience in surgical nursing is essential
· /n
- Motivated and professional, with exceptional communication and time management skills
· /n
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, best practice and safety /n
- Current National criminal history check /n /n /n

This area services Main theatres, Day Procedures, Cardiac procedural area (cath lab/ECG/TOEs/), Radiology post procedure recovery, Endoscopy suite and DSA (Digital Subtraction angiography) suite. /n /n Day Procedures is a Monday to Friday department with no week ends, nights or public holidays with opportunities to work alongside a team as well as autonomously. /n /n Working at St Vincent’s /n St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is a leading teaching, research and tertiary health service.
