Join our warehouse team in Preston and gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management and basic computer-based reporting.

We’re looking for a reliable, practical and computer-literate Warehouse Assistant to help keep our warehouse running smoothly.

University and TAFE students from all fields of study are encouraged to apply. Entry-level applicants and experienced warehouse workers are equally welcome.

Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential. What matters most is your reliability, willingness to learn and readiness to get involved.

About MAM

Mobility Access Modifications helps older people and people with disability live more safely and independently through home accessibility modifications across Melbourne.

What you’ll do

- Assist with early morning loading and unloading of trade vehicles.
- Receive, organise and replenish warehouse stock and materials.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Assist with deliveries, equipment and general warehouse tasks.
- Help maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
- Update stock records and spreadsheets using basic computer skills.
- Assist with inventory tracking, easy reporting and stock checks.
- Support the warehouse team with daily operations and improvements.

This is a mainly hands-on, physically active role, with opportunities to use your computer and organisational skills.

What we’re looking for

- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn.
- Availability for early morning shifts, potentially starting at 6 AM.
- Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties,



with reasonable adjustments where needed.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel or similar applications.
- Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Helpful, but not essential

- Previous warehouse, labouring or hands-on experience.
- An interest in inventory management or improving how things work.
- Experience using hand or power tools.
- Driver’s licence and own transport.
- Living in or near Preston.
