Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing communications and engagement teams.
- Drive community consultation activities to inform Council planning and service delivery.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that deliver strong organizational outcomes.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with community groups,
elected members, and government agencies.
- Manage competing strategic priorities and address emerging public relations issues.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience leading communications and stakeholder engagement functions in Local Government.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent executive leadership experience.
- High-level communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and team management capabilities.
- Current Queensland C Class provisional driver's license.
