- Collaborative, technology-driven finance team with career development

PERSOL is partnering with a leading Australian-listed, global organisation to recruit a Senior Tax Advisor to join its Group Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to step into a high-impact corporate role, supporting the management of complex domestic and international tax obligations across more than 20 jurisdictions.

Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will play an important role in managing tax compliance, providing technical and commercial tax advice, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation's global tax function.

With a significant proportion of the organisation's operations based offshore, this role offers exposure to a broad range of international tax matters, transfer pricing and Australian ASX-listed reporting requirements.

You'll also be joining a progressive, technology-focused finance function that values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the preparation, review and lodgement of corporate income tax returns across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Assist with transfer pricing compliance, documentation and implementation of global transfer pricing policies.
- Provide technical tax research and practical advice on business activities, commercial transactions, new projects and contracts.

- Support tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency and manage potential risks.
- Monitor changes to tax legislation across relevant jurisdictions and assess their impact on the business.
- Prepare and coordinate tax reporting requirements, including financial statement disclosures and supporting documentation.
- Develop and improve tax processes, reporting frameworks and internal controls to support compliance and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with internal finance teams, external tax advisors and auditors across multiple regions.
- Assist with tax audits, disputes and enquiries, ensuring appropriate management and resolution.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide clear, commercially focused tax guidance.

About You

You are a technically capable tax professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, commercially focused environment. You have strong analytical skills, take ownership of your work and are comfortable managing competing priorities across a range of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

- CA/CPA qualified, or an equivalent relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least four years' experience within a Big 4 or large accounting firm,

or an in-house tax function within a sizeable corporate organisation.
- Experience preparing corporate income tax returns and tax disclosures for financial reporting.
- Solid technical knowledge of corporate income tax and tax accounting principles.
- Understanding of international tax requirements and OECD transfer pricing guidelines.
- The ability to interpret tax legislation and translate technical concepts into practical commercial advice.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across different business functions and jurisdictions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive approach to process improvement, technology and finding more efficient ways of working.

Experience with Hyperion Financial Management would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Benefits

- Opportunity to join a well-established, ASX-listed global organisation.
- Exposure to complex international tax matters across more than 20 jurisdictions.
- Work closely with senior finance and tax leadership.
- Join a forward-thinking finance function with a strong focus on technology and innovation.
- Genuine opportunity to develop your commercial acumen and progress your corporate tax career.
- Collaborative and supportive working environment.
