We’re looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to join our team at New Shanghai, located at Chatswood Chase.

Our ideal Floor Supervisor has at least 2 years' experience supervising the floor in a busy, high-volume restaurant, ideally in a shopping centre or Asian dining setting. They lead from the front: running the floor during peak service, briefing and motivating the team, and stepping in wherever they're needed.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the floor team during busy service periods
- Brief, motivate and support staff throughout each shift
- Step in wherever needed
- Deliver warm, confident service so every guest has a great experience
- Handle POS transactions and cash
- Oversee opening and closing procedures




- Assist with rosters and staff training
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service

About you

- 2+ years' experience supervising the floor in a busy, high-volume restaurant
- Current NSW RSA required
- Bilingual with excellent English is highly regarded (Mandarin or Cantonese preferred)
- Calm under pressure
- Take pride in excellent customer service
- Comfortable with POS systems, opening and closing procedures, and cash handling
- Available to work weekends, nights and public holidays
