About the Chance

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join a major Australian telecommunications transformation program, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

This is a hands‑on engineering role supporting the deployment, automation and operation of enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure. You will work within a complex technology setting alongside cloud, infrastructure and engineering specialists.

Key Responsibilities

- Engineer, deploy and support cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP .
- Build and maintain scalable cloud platform services.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions.
- Support platform engineering,



configuration and operational activities.
- Assist with cloud infrastructure troubleshooting and technical issue resolution.
- Contribute to platform reliability, standardisation and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security and operations teams.
- Support cloud transformation and modernisation initiatives across a large enterprise environment.
- Maintain appropriate platform and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Experience deploying and supporting cloud infrastructure.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation .
- Robust platform engineering skills.
- Experience providing operational support within cloud environments.
- Experience working with enterprise‑scale infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary technical teams.

Location & Contract

- Sydney based only
