The Opportunity

As a Leading Hand – PDI, you’ll support the supervision and coordination of assembly and commissioning of Komatsu machinery, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead and coordinate a team of technicians and apprentices.
- Oversee assembly, commissioning and PDI activities.
- Plan, schedule and allocate work to maximise productivity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
- Monitor job progress, costs and quality outcomes.
- Maintain robust communication with customers and internal teams.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, 40 hour week

What we are looking for

- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Current Drivers Licence (HR preferred)
- Previous supervisory/ leading hand experience would be ideal
- Ability to schedule and delegate to a team or individual
- Strong key team player
- Qualified self-starter, with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and active in promoting its principals.




- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Basic to intermediate computer knowledge/skills
- Working at Heights Certification
