About the Role

Based at BYD's Sydney warehouse in Prestons and reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our Aftersales Operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations across Sydney and Brisbane.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate daily warehouse operations across Sydney and Brisbane, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching automotive parts.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) regularly.
- Track and record all stock movements, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely system updates.
- Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfilment.
- Manage stock discrepancies, damaged goods and returns in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate regular stocktakes, investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).




- Respond to daily dealer enquiries regarding parts availability, order status and deliveries, ensuring timely and professional communication.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Automotive or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination, preferably within the automotive parts industry.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment and its operation will be highly regarded.
