We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys solving complex people challenges, coaching managers and improving HR standards across a growing nursery group. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping our HR function while working alongside a dedicated Head Office team.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, probation and performance management
- Conduct workplace investigations and prepare recommendations
- Lead HR compliance audits across multiple nursery locations
- Review HR policies and recommend continuous improvements
- Support managers with complex employee matters and organizational change
- Monitor Right to Work,
DBS and sponsorship compliance
- Prepare HR risk reports and compliance reports for senior management
- Analyze employee feedback, exit interviews and HR trends to support business improvement
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
- Experience managing disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience advising managers on employee relations matters
- Experience conducting HR investigations and compliance audits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- The right to work in the UK
- Desirable
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
- Experience within childcare, education, healthcare or another regulated sector
- Experience with Skilled Worker sponsorships and Home Office compliance
