About the Role

As a Learning Support Educational Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting Senior School students with disabilities and additional learning needs to engage confidently in their education and reach their individual potential.

Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and our Learning Support team, you will provide individual and small-group assistance to students in Years 7–10, predominantly across English, Humanities and Science.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, understands that every student learns differently and is passionate about helping students build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing individual and small-group learning support within the classroom.
- Assisting teachers with the implementation of learning adjustments,



differentiated activities and individual student support strategies.
- Supporting students with literacy, classroom tasks, organisation and assessment requirements.
- Encouraging student independence, engagement and positive social interactions.
- Preparing and adapting learning resources to meet diverse student needs.
- Supporting student wellbeing and inclusion through social clubs and other College activities.
- Assisting with student learning records, documentation and general Learning Support administration.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and Learning Support staff to provide consistent and effective student support.
