We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie with confident grill skills, strong attention to detail and a positive approach to teamwork. You’ll take pride in running a well-organised section and delivering consistently great food through busy services.
About the role
Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will:
- Take responsibility for the daily preparation and operation of the grill section.
- Cook steaks and other proteins accurately to order, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
- Manage mise en place to ensure the section is ready for service.
- Maintain portion control, stock rotation and food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the team to keep service running smoothly.
- Support junior team members and contribute to a professional kitchen setting.
About you
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant.
- Strong grill skills, including confidence cooking steaks to the requested temperature.
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- A reliable, hands-on approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Australian work rights suitable for full-time employment.
