Senior Electrical Engineer Solar Renewables Design – Brisbane, Australia

What you’ll do

- Lead the delivery of electrical engineering design packages across a portfolio of projects, from concept through to detailed design and implementation.
- Provide technical leadership for LV and HV power systems, ensuring designs are practical, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing explicit technical guidance and practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Review, coordinate and oversee engineering deliverables, calculations, specifications, studies and technical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions for operating assets and brownfield environments.
- Lead, mentor and develop electrical engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Manage project performance, resources, budgets and delivery outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on engineering quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support best‑practice engineering standards across projects and teams.

What you’ll bring

- Relevant engineering qualifications and experience delivering electrical engineering projects within oil & gas, resources, mining or heavy industrial infrastructure environments.
- Current RPEQ registration.




- Strong technical expertise in LV and HV electrical design, power distribution systems and industrial infrastructure.
- Experience leading electrical design teams and providing technical guidance across complex projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering design processes, technical reviews, client standards and project governance requirements.
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- The ability to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and deliver practical solutions to complex problems.
