About The Company

Our client is a water and irrigation-focused business serving retail and trade customers in Townsville and the surrounding region. The store supports practical solutions across irrigation, pumps and water management, combining customer service with technical know-how.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and performance of their Townsville store. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people and customers, while also bringing practical knowledge to support irrigation, pumping and water management advice.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Lead, coach and roster the retail team to hit store targets
- Achieve monthly sales and profit budgets
- Build strong relationships with trade customers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Advise customers on irrigation, pump and water solutions, including diagnosing issues
- Manage stock, purchasing, store presentation and OH&S; compliance

About You





The successful candidate will have a customer-focused leadership style and the ability to balance operational performance with practical technical support for irrigation and water management solutions.

You will ideally have:

- 3–5 years’ retail management experience
- Certificate III in Irrigation (or equivalent)
- Strong pump and irrigation knowledge, including diagnosing issues
- Current Class C driver’s licence
- Flexible to work some weekends and travel occasionally

Desirable:

- Background in irrigation, plumbing or water management retail
- Commercial or agricultural experience
