Synergie Australia is seeking a Resource Analyst for a trusted client located in Parramatta.

The important parts:

- Pay: $750–$800 per day + Super
- Duration: 3-month leave-backfill
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Parramatta NSW | Hybrid: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
- Hours: 8 hours per day | 40 hours per week | 3 days in the Parramatta office and 2 days working from home

What you will be required to do:

You’ll support resource planning and analysis across enterprise initiatives, digital projects and business-as-usual activities. Working closely with project managers and team leaders, you’ll turn workforce data into insights that help balance demand, capacity and resource allocation.

- Develop and maintain resource plans and forecasts across projects, programs and business-as-usual activities.
- Monitor resource availability, allocation and utilisation to identify capacity gaps, competing demands and workload imbalances.
- Develop reports and dashboards that provide clear insights into workforce demand, capacity and CAPEX/OPEX resource data.
- Partner with project managers, team leaders, Finance, People and Culture, and the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to validate forecasts and address resourcing constraints.
- Support contractor procurement and provide project teams with resource planning advice, tools and templates.
- Improve resource management processes, data quality and reporting standards to support informed decision-making.

To be successful in the role you will:

- Bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Resource Analyst or Resource Manager in a large, complex environment.
- Have mandatory experience using resource management systems; the client uses a workforce management system built on Microsoft PowerApps.
- Demonstrate strong resource forecasting, capacity planning and analytical skills,



including experience supporting large capital portfolios and analysing CAPEX/OPEX people data.
- Offer solid reporting and data visualisation skills, advanced Excel capability, and experience translating complex data into insights for senior stakeholders.
- Hold a diploma or tertiary qualification in business, IT management or project management, or equivalent experience, with a project management accreditation such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or AgilePM.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships, communicate clearly and manage competing priorities across business and technology teams.
- Ideally bring Power BI and Power Platform experience, plus familiarity with SAP EPPM/S4HANA, Microsoft Project Online or similar project management tools. Government experience is not required.
- Be able to complete two reference checks and a police check before commencing.
