We are seeking an experienced WHS Coordinatorfor an immediate start on a construction project based in Moorebank.

In this role you will play a key role in supporting the site team and ensuring compliance with the client's strict safety management systems. This is a hands-on, site-based position suited to someone who is proactive, approachable and confident working alongside supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate the client's permit-to-work system, ensuring permits are submitted ahead of planned works.
- Facilitate daily permit sign-ons and sign-offs with subcontractors and trades.
- Liaise with the Site Supervisor to understand upcoming works and plan permit requirements.
- Conduct regular site walks, monitoring compliance with PPE, SWMS, permits and site safety requirements.
- Identify and address safety concerns proactively.
- Liaise with the client on a daily basis, maintaining a positive and professional working relationship.
- Assist with daily deliveries, materials handling and general site organisation.
- Promote good housekeeping and safe work practices across the site.
- Complete Life Card inspections through the client's online system.

About You:

- Previous experience in a site-based safety role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements, SWMS and permit-to-work systems.
- Experience working within a Tier 1 or highly regulated construction environment will be highly regarded.
- Confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with solid attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and hit the ground running.
