The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a variety of nursing positions on our Acute / Medical Surgical Ward, as well as our Rehabilitation Unit and Theatre Unit with the opportunity to work across both Forster & Mayo Private Hospitals. We have flexible rosters with the ability to work full time, part time or join our casual pool.
This is a fast-paced and exciting place to work and the successful candidate will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidenced based care.
- Current registration with APHRA
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in Scrub / Scout Nursing
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of advance patient assessment skills and facilitation of early escalation process where required
- Ability to work flexible hours – shift work, on-call and overtime as required
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- National Criminal History Record Check
- Current Working with Children Check
