This is a senior leadership role in regional Victoria. You'll head a 40-person medical imaging department covering MRI, CT, ultrasound and general X-ray.

You’ll be responsible for the operational, clinical and strategic leadership of the department, inclusive of 40 FTE. Your leadership team includes:

- 4 Modality Leads: MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray
- An Administration Manager overseeing a team of 12 administration officers

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing strategic and operational leadership across all imaging modalities
- Leading, developing and supporting modality leads and the wider team to build a positive, high-performing culture
- Managing budgets, resourcing, rosters and service performance
- Making sure the department meets radiation safety, accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Driving quality improvement,



service planning and equipment and technology strategy

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
- Significant leadership experience in medical imaging, ideally managing multi-modality services
- Strong people leadership, with a record of building teams
- Sound financial, operational and change management skills
- A solid understanding of radiation safety, accreditation standards and clinical governance
