Waypost is a business systems and process improvement consultancy working across ERP, finance transformation, procurement and supply chain.
We work on the owner's team, alongside our clients and their software providers, to manage ERP projects on our clients' behalf. Our work brings together the system, the business processes and the people who use them.
The opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Pronto Xi consultant who understands how businesses operate and can help turn their requirements into practical outcomes.
You'll work across different clients, industries and Pronto environments, including mining, manufacturing and industrial businesses. Engagements span recent implementations, version upgrades, cloud migrations and improvements to existing systems and processes.
The role combines analysis, workshops, documentation, testing and training. You'll work closely with client teams and software providers, helping people make informed decisions and carrying those decisions through to delivery.

What you'll do
Carry out fit-gap analysis across Pronto Xi Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects and Maintenance Management.
Document requirements and future processes, and prepare functional specifications where customisation is required.
Assess how version upgrades affect existing processes, customisations, reports and interfaces.
Work with software providers, including Pronto Software, to resolve issues and keep delivery aligned with client requirements.
Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, document results and follow issues through to resolution.
Support data migration through mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
Assess and test interfaces with surrounding systems, including AP automation, expense management, banking and payroll reporting.
Facilitate workshops to understand business requirements, current processes and issues.
Deliver user training and prepare clear, practical documentation.
Keep engagement leads and client stakeholders informed about progress, risks and decisions.
Contribute to proposals, scoping and engagement planning.
What you'll bring
At least five years of ERP implementation experience, including a substantive role on at least one full Pronto Xi implementation.
Hands-on functional experience with Pronto Xi 760,770 or 780.
Strong knowledge of Pronto Finance, including GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets, together with Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects and Maintenance Management.
Strong procurement process knowledge, including purchasing, approvals and delegations, contracts and supplier management.
Experience facilitating workshops, conducting fit-gap analysis and writing functional specifications.
Experience with user acceptance testing, training and user documentation.
Data migration experience, including mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
The ability to explain system and process issues clearly and work constructively with business users, IT teams and software providers.
A background in finance, information systems, business or procurement.
Sound judgement around data privacy, security and the responsible use of AI tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and produce accurate, well-structured documentation.
The organisation and initiative to manage your work effectively in a remote team.
Upgrades from Pronto Xi 740, 760 or 780.
Migrations to Pronto Xi from other ERP systems.
Mining or resources experience, particularly mining procurement and multi-site, multi-entity operations.
Pronto HRM, Payroll and Employee Portal, including STP and SuperStream.
Experience with ProSpend, REDMAP, Cognos or TrueForm Neo.
Pronto Xi 780 approval workflows and mobile approvals.
Pronto Xi system administration experience, including user access, security roles and segregation of duties, data set management and test environment refreshes.
Familiarity with the technical environment supporting Pronto Xi, such as Linux, Windows Server, Informix, ODBC connections, printing and document output.
Exposure to Pronto Cloud or other hosted environments, cloud migrations and single sign-on.
